Solutions, Inc.,
was founded on the premise of exceeding customer expectations
-- by delivering competent metallurgical analysis, using state-of-the-art
equipment and communicating the results clearly and efficiently.
After
years of working with metallurgical labs that didn’t
quite meet his needs, Ralph H. Phillips, owner of several
steel tubing plants, decided it was time to take action. Mr.
Phillips invested in the latest equipment, attracted a top
metallurgist and opened the door to Metallurgical Solutions,
Inc.
Director
of Metallurgical Services, Brian Joyce, agreed with Ralph’s
vision, and together they have built a state-of-the-art metallurgical
lab specializing in failure analysis.
Location
Metallurgical
Solutions, Inc. is located adjacent to Middletown
Tube Works, another company owned by Ralph Phillips. The
testing laboratory remains independent, equally serving the
needs of all customers. MSI is one of the few firms in the
area to perform specialized failure analysis for critical
industries such as automotive, aerospace and medical.
MSI
earned its A2LA
accreditation in late 2002, and can handle all metal projects,
