Accreditation
MSI is accredited by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditations (A2LA) in accordance with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard ISO/IEC 17025 (the general requirements for the competence to carry out tests and/or calibrations, including sampling).
A2LA was founded in 1978 as a non-profit, public service, membership society dedicated to the formal recognition of competent testing and calibration laboratories, inspection bodies, proficiency testing providers and reference material producers.
MSI earned the prestigious Nadcap accreditation for materials testing laboratories. Administered by the Performance Review Institute (PRI), Nadcap is the leading global cooperative standards-setting program for aerospace engineering, defense and related industries. Its mission is to provide international, unbiased, independent manufacturing process and product assessments and certification services for the purpose of adding value, reducing total cost, and facilitating relationships between subscribers and suppliers.
In 2009, MSI was certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).as a Women’s Business Enterprise. Founded in 1997, WBENC is the nation’s leading advocate of women-owned businesses as suppliers to America’s corporations. To achieve this “gold standard,” MSI successfully completed a formal documentation and site visit process
